Mei Ri Christmas!

Merry Christmas! It’s 20 or more days to go…

You might be wondering about my spelling of the title, well it was brought upon my latest KDrama addiction – Mary Stayed Out All Night.

I can’t help smiling or feel giddy (kilig) on every scene of Mu-gyul (Jang Geun Seok) and Mei Ri (Moon Geun Young). I am biased with JSK, love him in You’re Beautiful, but really these two are too cute together. Story wise, it’s a bit over or one-in-a-million-chance-of-happening, nevertheless I’m completely hooked with it.

I’m waiting for ep 7 to be subbed.

If you want a feel-good KDrama to watch, this is definitely it!

It ended with a Kiss!

Playful Kiss ends this week. Both ep15 an 16 are up at viikii.net with eng subs.

Ep15 marks the wedding and honeymoon scenes and ep16 wraps everything up. If you previously watched ISWAK and TKA (TwDrama) you can say they rushed the ending BUT for me I am good with it.

No, I retract my statement, I love the ending!

I feel so proud of Oh Ha Ni (Jung So Min)! She indeed matured and got her wishes from husband Baek Seung Jo (KimHyun Joong) to her career choice (to become a Nurse since Seung Jo is studying to be a Doctor). That is due to her persistence and perseverance. If it were me I'm sure I gave up already.

And Baek Seung Jo is such a charmer. Just smile and I'll forget everything else.

Did I say anything?

KDrama: Mary Stayed Out All Night

One great KDrama over another.

Can't wait for Jang Geun Seok's new drama! I think he is being stereotyped as musician as in his previous roles in Kdramas Beethoven Virus and You're Beautiful. Not that I am complaining because he sure does have beautiful voice not to mention a beautiful face!

Initial telecast on Nov 8, i'll sure mark that on my calendar!

Sad, Happy Ending for MGIG

I was crying for the entire last 2 eps, it was so heartbreaking for Mi Ho and Dae Woong.

Is loving really worth all those pain?

In the end, they decided to accept the fact that Mi Ho will disappear after the 100th day so they tried to spend the remaining days together.

But what will happen after the 100th day?

Guess luck is still on their side as Granny G promised 500 years ago that if she found a suitable husband she will turn her into human. I don't know why she kept her promised but not completely.

Anyways, it was a happy ending for the two. But I was saddened because I will miss them.

MGIG is domo domo domo domo domo great!

Cold Feet for MGIG

This is the last week for My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, english subbed eps are up at viikii.net but I can't bring myself to watch it.

The last eps were such a drama, both Mi Ho and Dae Woong to give up on their love for the sake of the other. Crazy right? The term complicated is an understatement for their situation. Mi Ho is a mythical creature wanting to be human for the sake of Dae Woong, but she later learned that in the process Dae Woong has to die.

I cannot take such complications!

I am such a Drama Queen!

I sure am.

SSBB: Realm Of A Dreamer

I think this is my first time writing a blog review about R.O.A.D.

Or not, I can’t really remember.

Sansan aka Realm is the blogger behind Realm Of A Dreamer among other blogs she maintained. She’s the ever reliable Ms. Moderator in TP and Ms. Friendship in GT. When I started blogging she’s already a pro with self-hosted blogs but still takes time to answer my silly questions.

On the R.O.A.D. review, I can say it was one of the first WP self-hosted pink blog I’ve seen, adored and followed (though she had a different lay-out for quite sometime now) She usually does her own lay-out and is updated with the latest WP plug-ins. She writes mostly about her feelings on this blog, there were even password protected posts where I am too curious about.

I must admit I was bothered with her latest post about probably being the last year of The Dreamer from the blogging world. No! I’ll miss you Sansan! I agree that there are times where I too feel like not having anything to write or blog about but I’m sure you’ll get back the drive sooner or later. But whatever your decisions may be, we’ll be here to support you.

Kiss x Kiss

Wow I think I'm gonna have a heart attack with these lovey dovey scenes in ep 11!

The Kiss!

The much anticipated kiss happened in ep6...

Playful Kisses

Time out with MGIG (since I’ve watched all eps to date), time for PK!

As I’ve said in my previous posts (sorry for being makulit), PK is the Korean adaptation of Itazura na Kiss (Jdrama, anime and manga) and It Started With A Kiss (TwDrama).

ISWAK is one of my fave TwDrama so I really set my eyes for PK, not to mention Kim Hyun Joong (Ji Hoo of BOF) will play the male lead.

So much with the intro, let’s get to the drama itself.

As most of the Kdramaddicts out there, ep 1 was a huge disappointment: story, acting and rating-wise. But I did not falter (like in ISWAK I nearly gave up watching it after watching the first few eps) and sure enough the story and acting picked up as they move to the next ep. Not sure about the ratings though. KHJ is slowly proving his worth as an actor not just a pretty boy.

I’m done last night with ep 4 and I can’t wait to watch ep 5 and 6 which are scheduled to be shown next Wed and Thurs at MBC Korea (so we have to wait for 2 to 3 days for the eng subbed).

I’m pretty confident this will be the next big KDrama to hit the Asian boobtube.

Still on MGIG

Love love love I want your love.

Mi Ho (Shin Min Ah) is practically begging Dae Woong (Lee Seung Ki) to love her, but the latter haven't realized his true feelings yet or is he just dense?

We're halfway now with ep 8, and things are starting to get complicated.

Can't wait for the next one.

---

I want to introduce the bad/ emo/ hot other guy Park Dong Joo (No Min Woo).

He plays an immortal who is in love with the Gumiho. In her previous lifetime, she chooses to die for her beloved human. He waited for her return and now it seems she is making the same mistakes/ decision.

Poor boy.

Gumiho Fever

I'm seriously in love with Gumiho. Yup with the female lead, Shin Min Ah, she looks soo refreshing, soo pure, soo beautiful! (nakaka tomboy pare hehe)

Lee Seung Ki is funny befitting of his role but not the boy next door type (sorry fans!)

Story wise, it is really funny. I have yet to see the love development since I'm only at ep 2.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Coffee House Ends Here

It was indeed a roller coaster of emotions for the last 2 eps of Coffee House.

I laughed, I cried, I fret, I was shocked, I was scared...

I wanted Jin Soo and Eun Young to end up together, they had 12 yrs of suppressed love and they do deserve each other. And they did, yipee!

BUT...

I am also brokenhearted for Seung Yeon, huhu! She realized that there is nothing else she can do and accepted the end of her unrequited love. And was actually happy for JS and EY, such a nice girl.

This is a great KDrama you shouldn't miss!

Major Cliffhanger!

Ep16 with Coffee House and until now nobody knows who will end up with whom.

Either gal, I'm sure I'll be brokenhearted for the other.

Two more eps to go!

OST Pick: A Little Bit (CH)

Kilig? Not just a little bit, I guess...

I'm at ep 5 of Coffee House but I'm still torn between the 2 female leads...this is the first time, usually I had difficulty in choosing oven 2 male leads.

What the heck, I'll just continue watching to see who JS really ends with.

KDrama: Playful Kiss

This is definitely BIG! as in B-I-G!

Sometime ago, I wrote about the Korean adaptation of Itazura na Kiss (JDrama) or ISWAK- It Started With A Kiss (TwDrama) being under serious consideration. And now they finalize the cast and guess who will play the male lead?

Kim Hyun Joong oppa! Remember Ji Hoo of BOF - Boys Over Flowers. Premier is set to be on September 1, can't wait!

Pictures from Dramabeans

But according to the grapevine, Lee Min-Ho was first offered the part but he declined. Hmm, should I be disappointed?

I think it is LMH's loss since I really like the Taiwanese adaptation ISWAK and TKA - They Kissed Again played by Ariel Lin and Joe Chen. So I really think this would be another BIG hit just like BOF.

The female lead was offered to a newcomer Jung So Min.

In Love Again

That’s right I’m in love again with the Korean Drama Coffee House. I’ve been sampling one after another drama series but nothing caught my attention except for this one.

Only in episode 1 and I can’t help but to laugh and love the characters Jin Soo, Eun Young and Seung Yeon. This is the first time I love both the female leads and I honestly can’t tell yet which one would end up with Jin Soo.

Jin Soo is a successful thriller writer, Eun Young is the directress in the publishing company and Seung Yeon is Jin Soo’s secretary. Seung Yeon come from a poor family and as most of the plot in a Korean Drama the family incurred cash advances from different banks. Seung Yeon thought she got lucky to have a famous and kind boss in Jin Soo but contrary he has some weird behaviors. Like he wants to have 10 sharpened pencils before he starts writing, but it should be sharpened using cutter and should be of same length. He just smiles but always threw the pencils Seung Yeon prepares. He seems to be a real jerk but actually he is just a perfectionist. And once he smiles all your doubts, irritation will evaporate in thin air. Eun Young knew of Jin Soo’s personality but because he is a valued writer in her publishing company she can’t do anything but to give in to his whims.

Then there comes the sunbae of Seung Yeon who is a friend of Jin Soo and the ex fiancée of Eun Yeong, so a lot more is expected from this series.

And expect more post from me on this Korean Drama, that’s for sure.
