Back to Back Park Shin Hye

I just finished YAB rerun and i still get giddy with OTP Park Shin Hye and Jang Geun Seok. I guess I'll have another round in the near future, let's say tom? coz it's almost midnight now.

And now I'm watching another PSH KDrama starrer Heartstrings/ You've Fallen For Me now with Jung Yong Hwa as the male lead (graduated from being the third wheeler in YAB).

Can't get enough of my KDrama addiction.

KDrama: Scent Of A Woman

I love KimSun Ah, but I can’t get off her Kim Sam Soon image, so seeing her new KDrama: Scent of a Woman is a shocker. She’s so thin, I want her fat!

And another shocker is Lee Dong Wook of My Girl, those chiseled face and body courtesy of Army Duty! No more pretty boy next door image, but I liked him better now.

What I don’t like is the premise of an impending demise, with 6 months to live drama.

I want to watch.

I don’t want to watch.

Such a dilemma.

YAB Take 2!

While waiting for the new eps of TwDrama: Drunken to Love You and KDrama: Heartstrings aka You've Fallen For Me, I decided to rewatch my all-time-favorite KDrama: You Are Beautiful.
Connect? It's stars Park Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa of HS and my pretty-boy-toy Jang Geun Seok.

I am lovin' YAB and JGS all over again!
By the way, a JDrama adaptation is currently filming. I'll definitely check that one.

Impatient Drunkard

My current addiction is the TwDrama: Drunken To Love You and the OTP Xiao Ru-Jie Xiu.

And while I was accustomed to KDramas having 2 eps a week, I was shocked that DTLY is only shown one a week! I started watching with 13 eps out, now the last 5 eps are making me impatient!

I need to sober up!

The Drunkards!

I didn't know I will be one of them!

Well, the addiction this time is not on alcohol but the TwDrama: Drunken To Love You. Thanks to 'The Drunkards' @ viki.com for the fast eng subs.

I must say I ate my words (AGAIN) having a not so good first impression on the title and Rainie Yang.

I am loving DTLY, RY, Joseph Chang, the OST, the secondary casts, the pace, what else did I miss?

Can't wait for ep 14!

KDrama: Heartstrings

One of my fave KDrama of all time is You’re Beautiful (YAB), there I first fell for Jang Geun Seok. Of course I rooted for the emo-looking-guy JGS (I really hated his hair at first but fell hard later) and the gender-bender-nun Park Shin Hye. But my heart bled dry for the kind-third-wheeler Jung Yong Hwa.

That was 2009, fast forward to 2011. Park Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa teamed together for Heatstrings aka You've Fallen For Me! Now JYH gets the girl, definitely 100% sure!

Trying to live up to her grandfather's expectations, Kyu Won immerses herself in training and becomes a university student who knows nothing outside of her studies. KMovie: You're My Pet

I was never into Asian Movies, except maybe horror ones, I don’t know the reason. I am ok with Asian dramas period. Although I was tempted to watch one or two KMovies, it always never materialized.

But it will end with You’re My Pet!

That’s how I love Jang Geun Suk nope I adore this man! Even if the last KDrama was a disappointment, I still followed him like a love sick puppy.

You’re My Pet is the Korean Adaptation of another manga and JDrama Kimi Wa Petto where the main male lead is Matsumoto Jun (I like him too!).

JGS will be paired with Han Ye Seul.

TwDrama: Skip Beat

I’ve been keeping off writing an update on my highly anticipated TwDrama: Skip Beat. Why? Because I went gaga over the Manga on which it was adapted (the manga itself is still on-going). I have very high expectation on this one and hope I will not be disappointed anymore.

I already got disappointed early when the Ariel Lin-Jerry Yan plans, after getting so much hype (even donning a press con in Japan) got shelved.

Then they announced another Taiwan–Korea–Japan collaboration (same with Hayate the Combat Butler) with the script from a Japanese Manga, the male leads Ren and Shou from Korea and Kyoko from Taiwan. Will the names be changed? I hope not!

I am getting too excited again, now you know why I don’t want to post anything about Skip Beat!

Happy Endings

Oh I love happy endings! That’s why I limit my drama addiction to romantic-comedies aka rom-coms because I don’t want to add drama to my already dramatic life.

I love dramas but I don’t want drama.

What an inconsistency, right?

So with the last 2 weeks, my
May KDrama’s Best Love, Lie to Me and Baby-Faced Beauty ended and given me sweet endings to cherish.

It made me sad for the drama itself to end, I will miss watching the raws, next day recap hunting, and re-watching with eng subs after a few days. My life was that hectic!

I gave myself a few days as breather and now ready to pick new batch of KDrama or TwDramas to watch.

Any suggestions?

I have! Tons of it!
