SOAW ending

I was afraid to watch the last eps of Kdrama Scent of a Woman, was afraid my eyes would be swollen from crying.

And I did cry a lot, on ep 14 when Heon Jae told her mom her condition, it was the saddest part for me (coz I can relate!).

But surprisingly after that scene there was no major crying. More of acceptance, understanding and lots of love.

I thought Heon Jae will die on the end, though it is still implied that she would, the story shows her living each day without regret. She was asked by Ji Wook if she would rather not be sick, she said if she isn't she wouldn't have the courage to change herself, to speak up, meet him and let her mom remarry, etc.

The moral of the story is to live without regrets.

Inspired by Heon Jae's bucket list, I am working on one too, not because I am sick but because I don't want to have regrets and we never know what the future brings.

Currently Watching: Scent of a Woman

Currently watching and crying.

Huhu, saddest kissing scene ever!

I was hesitant to watch this one, knowing the story will evolve with a six month death sentence. But I adore Kim Sun Ah and curious about Lee Dong Wok.

And indeed starting with ep 1, my tears were not stopping.

I find LDW's acting quite robotic. I don't know if it's what the script requires or his acting style, guess I have to re-watch My Girl. But KSA really delivers, I cry every time she cries. I feel her pain particularly on ep 9 where she told her best friend that she has cancer and is dying. Huhu major crying scene.

I am now waiting for ep11, with Kang Ji Wook learning Lee Yeon Jae's condition.

Oh I also like Dr. Chae Eun Suk's strict-but-softy-on-the-inside character.

KDrama: Scent Of A Woman

I love KimSun Ah, but I can’t get off her Kim Sam Soon image, so seeing her new KDrama: Scent of a Woman is a shocker. She’s so thin, I want her fat!

And another shocker is Lee Dong Wook of My Girl, those chiseled face and body courtesy of Army Duty! No more pretty boy next door image, but I liked him better now.

What I don’t like is the premise of an impending demise, with 6 months to live drama.

I want to watch.

I don’t want to watch.

Such a dilemma.
