Drama Queen top ranked celebrities and dramas

After 2 years 4 months and 165 posts, here are the top five most blogged about celebrities and dramas. I checked my tags and as I am more inclined to KDramas, all of them are from Korea.

DQ Top Blogged Celebrities
Park Shin Hye – 16
Jung Yong Hwa – 15
Jung Geun Seok – 13
Yoon Eun Hye – 11
Lee Min Ho – 10

DQ Top Blogged Dramas
You’re Beautiful – 14
You’ve Fallen For Me – 10
Myung Wol the Spy- 8
Lie to Me – 7
My Girlfriend is a Gumiho – 7

My personal choice would be Jang Geun Seok and Yoon Eun Hye for Top Celebrities while You’re Beautiful for Top Drama. I know I’m biased. But this is my blog and here I am the Queen – the Drama Queen.

Myung Wol the Spy: Lies and Betrayal

Oh My! I feel for you Eric, all the pain from more lies and betrayal.

It's my first KDrama with Eric as the male lead and I must admit he is quite good in acting and oozing with male sex appeal. He's a full blooded man.

But as I've said I'm more into the flower boy type - the cutie next door like my JGS (missed him).

Monday to Sunday Drama Sched

I was looking for another drama to watch together with KDramas Protect the Boss, Scent of a Woman and Myung Wol the Spy. These are all currently running dramas so there are gaps in between the actual airings and release of English subbed parts.

Mon & Tues – Myung Wol the Spy
Wed & Thurs – Protect the Boss
Sat & Sun – Scent of a Woman

And I found the JDrama adaptation of You’re Beautiful (Park Shin Hye and Jang Geun Seok) called Ikemen desu ne.

While watching the first ep, I can’t help but to compare and I know I shouldn’t since they are the same.

That’s why it is called adaptation girl!

Okay, my bad.

So no comparison from now on. The three original A.N.Jell members are Ren, Shu and Yuki, and the cause of all these confusion is Mio the brother of Miko. I am guessing their ages are 16-18 because they all look young, but when I checked their ages are 20-24, still young to my standards.

Fri – Ikemen desu ne

So that fills the schedule.

Weekend Drama List

My weekend KDrama/ TwDrama list:

Myung Wol the Spy - ep11

Protect the Boss - ep1 to 5

Scent of a Woman - ep1 to 4

With two dramas ending this week (DTLY and YFFM), I started two new KDramas, Protect the Boss and Scent of a Woman. Myung Wol the Spy has 7 eps to go (if they go with 18eps).

I am also looking for one more to add to my 'currently watching drama list', maybe a TwDrama. Any suggestions?

Sticky Note: Myung Wol is Back

I told you, Myung Wol is CRAZY.

Now, Han Ye Seul is returning back to Korea to film the remaining eps of Myung Wol the Spy. I am happy for the drama and for HYS herself. If she indeed was harassed or provoked to do what she did, going MIA would only cast doubts. It might be the end of her career, but at least she has finished her pending commitments and if she wants to stay, I think she still can. Media is an awfully powerful tool, you can make it work for you or against you. Whatever is the case, let’s just wait.

Speaking of which ep11 is out and I can’t wait to see ep12 where HYS returns.

Sticky Note: Han Ye Seul goes MIA

Oh my! Just when I was getting the hang of Myung Wol’s craziness, a more shocking news came. Han Ye Seul playing Myung Wol, ditched her role and went to LA.

Sad. For HYS, Eric and the rest of the production team. HYS claims she is overworked while the crew claims she is a primadonna. I just hope everything is settled smoothly, not that it is possible for the time being as HYS faces multiple law suits from KBS (the network), her own agency and other companies she represent. She did something unacceptable, I agree but maybe she has deeper reasons that we might or not know and understand.

For now, I just want a good ending to the drama.

Currently Watching: Myung Wol the Spy

Crazy. This is the best word befitting KDrama: Myung Wol the Spy. The script is crazy, the actors are crazy and I for watching is also crazy.

I was really baffled that they would make a comedy about North Korean spy, I was pretty sure the South and the North are not in good terms. So for the drama to depict the North Koreans spy as comedic is quite unnerving. Am I being pathetic? Thinking it would damage the already damaged relationship.

About the actors, I was really curious about Eric. I admit he has this male charisma, but I guess I don’t dig him. I still prefer the boy-next-door type like Jang Geun Seok and Jung Il Woo.

I am at ep 6 already and I intend to watch till the end because it was funny and my curiosity (about the N-S thing). It also serves as my buffer while waiting for new eps of You’ve Fallen For Me and TwDrama: Drunken To Love You.
