TwDrama: In Time With You

One of my most liked Taiwanese Actress is Ariel Lin. I’ve seen her in Love Contract with Mike He, Tokyo Juliet with Wu Chun, It Started with a Kiss and They Kissed Again with Joe Cheng. She also had Love or Bread still with Joe Cheng but I didn’t watched it. She was out of the dramaland for a year or two due to her physical health. Her latest TwDrama: In Time With You, might also be her last. I will surely miss her if that would be the case.

As she looked around for a potential husband, she discovered that she was surrounded by unacceptable candidates, like gay assistant or cheating ex-boyfriend. Weekend Drama List

My weekend KDrama/ TwDrama list:

Myung Wol the Spy - ep11

Protect the Boss - ep1 to 5

Scent of a Woman - ep1 to 4

With two dramas ending this week (DTLY and YFFM), I started two new KDramas, Protect the Boss and Scent of a Woman. Myung Wol the Spy has 7 eps to go (if they go with 18eps).

I am also looking for one more to add to my 'currently watching drama list', maybe a TwDrama. Any suggestions?

Ending for DTLY

Finally after 18 weeks = 18 eps, a fitting ending to Lin Xiao Ru (Raine Yang) and Song Jie Xu (Joseph Chang). We followed their complicated exes and their drunkeness, even being a drunkard during the process.

Look at their cute groom and bridal car!

Impatient Drunkard

My current addiction is the TwDrama: Drunken To Love You and the OTP Xiao Ru-Jie Xiu.

And while I was accustomed to KDramas having 2 eps a week, I was shocked that DTLY is only shown one a week! I started watching with 13 eps out, now the last 5 eps are making me impatient!

I need to sober up!

The Drunkards!

I didn't know I will be one of them!

Well, the addiction this time is not on alcohol but the TwDrama: Drunken To Love You. Thanks to 'The Drunkards' @ viki.com for the fast eng subs.

I must say I ate my words (AGAIN) having a not so good first impression on the title and Rainie Yang.

I am loving DTLY, RY, Joseph Chang, the OST, the secondary casts, the pace, what else did I miss?

Can't wait for ep 14!

TwDrama: Skip Beat

I’ve been keeping off writing an update on my highly anticipated TwDrama: Skip Beat. Why? Because I went gaga over the Manga on which it was adapted (the manga itself is still on-going). I have very high expectation on this one and hope I will not be disappointed anymore.

I already got disappointed early when the Ariel Lin-Jerry Yan plans, after getting so much hype (even donning a press con in Japan) got shelved.

Then they announced another Taiwan–Korea–Japan collaboration (same with Hayate the Combat Butler) with the script from a Japanese Manga, the male leads Ren and Shou from Korea and Kyoko from Taiwan. Will the names be changed? I hope not!

I am getting too excited again, now you know why I don’t want to post anything about Skip Beat!

TwDrama: Material Girl

I can only recall Vaness Wu as one of Taiwan’s F4 from the uber famous Meteor Garden (though I haven’t seen it).

He proved to be a more serious actor and not to mention a hunk with his last projects.

Material Girl seems to be a nice TwDrama filmed in Paris, oh I would love to go there! For the meantime I’ll watch MG.

TwDrama: Drunken To Love You

My first impression was, can’t they think of another title without the ‘to love you’ phrase?

FTLY – Fated to Love You was one of my all-time favorite TwDrama and I hate to compare.

I’ve watched a lot of Rainie Yang’s TwDrama (2 of which is with Mike He) though I’m not a fan, I don’t hate her either. But most of her previous roles were comedic even to the extent of idiotic types.

So with DTLY ‘as rumored’ is her most mature role.

Let’s watch and judge.

Another Blunder

Again I was caught off guard.

I did actually liked Sunny Happiness!

I guess I am biased because of Mike He, guilty as charged, who looks so damned HOT. And his smile would melt any woman’s heart (mine sure did more than it can handle). He doesn’t age, he looks the same as he did in Devil Beside You and that was 2005!

Sure the story was so-so, but eventually it grew in me. The characters except for the bitchy ex-wife, are all endearing in their own little ways. I even liked the sisters now.

Janine Chang is a good actress, not just a pretty face. She reminds me of Joe Chen (Qiao En).

Other actors to take note of are the younger bro, Li Yi Feng and his finance Li Jin Ming (both are Chinese), their evilness and bantering are so cute. I can’t help but love them instead.

Looking forward to more of Mike He, Janine Chang or other Taiwanese drama to watch!

TwDrama: Sunny Happiness

I really want to watch this drama.

Really as in really.

The main reason is the male lead Mike He – my forever ultimate crush.

But every time I tried,

I get bored.

And annoyed with the ugly step sisters antics

Not to mention their voices.

And I stop.

I started watching this even before My Princess and Dream High, both finished with flying colors.

Until now I’m in ep 2 – mid half not even through with it.

Please, anyone please convince me it’s worth watching!

Well, maybe I’ll try again later, just to see Mike He.

TwDrama: Because of You

I think…I think I’ll gotta love this one.

I was checking what’s new in Taiwan ’s idol drama scene and this got my attention because of Baron Chen. Remember him as Dylan of Fated To Love You? Well I do because at some point I wanted him to end up with Xin Yi.

But the problem is I have too much drama series (both US and Asian) in queue, so I guess it will go again to my Watch List.
