Pretty Boys in KDrama: My early Christmas gifts

It's beginning to look like Christmas... in KDramaland!

I've been really left behind with my KDrama addiction these last few months, seen only a few here and there. Maybe that's why the KDrama gods gave me my 3 ultimate oppas in their own KDramas before the end of 2013 to bring me back to my senses.

Jang Geun Seok will play title role Pretty Man, couldn't agree more. I don't have any details yet but it will air sometime in October.



Jung Il Woo will have a Weekend Drama titled Gold Rainbow with UEE. I'm not particularly keen with a weekend drama (50 eps) and UEE but if my Il Woo oppa is there, nothing can stop me.



Kim Soo Hyun will play alien in The Man From Another Star. I'd want to be abducted if i'll be with him forever.

Then there's also Lee Min Ho, Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jong Seok, Kim Bum, Kim Woo Bin among other pretty boys with current or coming KDramas. I really need to buckle up as it will be an exciting ride, fangirling style ;)

I love both the King and half bro Prince Yang Myeong that's why I cannot move on why the Prince have to die. He was never a real threat to the King position because he never wanted it on the first place. Though what Prince Yang Myeong did was heroic, selfless and idiotic at the same time I guess it was needed in the story. So while I'm still sobbing, I'll give it a rest.

The King & Queen Yeon Woo (Han Ga In)

The King and Queen did get their happy ever after ending. After all the tragedies, conspiracy and treason everything was dealt with and kept on their proper places. This KDrama deals more on fate and destiny, that no matter how one tries to mess with destiny it will still find its rightful ending.

I soo love Sam Dong, Hye Mi and the rest of the cast of Dream High, so I have (I guess not only me) of it's second season.

Will I be equally delighted or totally disappointed? We'll see.

Synopsis
In Season Two, Kirin Arts High School has fallen from its top arts academy status into dire financial straits and is in danger of closing. Dream High Rerun

I saw this Dream High animated poster, so cute!

I suddenly got the urge to watch (again for the nth time) my Sam Dong, Jin Gook, Hye Mi, the milky couple Jason and Pil Sook. I almost forgot Baek Hee because she was my least fave character among the group.

One more day to Dream High's finale.

I can't wait to watch it whether subbed or not.

I'm really curious of who will be "K". I guess it will be Baek Hee (Ham Eun Jung) though I initially wanted it to be Sam Dong (Kim Soo Hyun). But as long as Sam Dong ended up with Hye Mi (Suzy) I'm good with that.

Here's the scene I like in ep 14, when Sam Dong, Hye Mi and Jin Gook were planning on their music videos. They wanted to show the improvements they undergone during the past year – Jin Sook mellowed down (he used to fight a lot), Sam Dong became confident (he’s a country bumpkin) while Hye Mi became humane (doesn’t have emotion or doesn’t know how to express herself).

For ep 15, I soo love the moment when Hye Mi realizes she like Sam Dong.

Love love love, I want your love.

KDrama: Dream High

I was first reluctant to watch this musical themed drama, thinking it was a Glee-popularity-driven-whatsoever-thing, but I was W-R-O-N-G!

Just the first episode completely nailed me and I went to watch the next 9 episodes straight. The story starts with the first ever Korean singer who won the Grammy’s in 2018, the singer “K” was said to have studied in Kirin Arts High School. Back to the present time, a number of aspiring idols took auditions to enter the prestigious school and so starts their grueling flight to stardom. But it’s not that simple, each kid has its own story to tell and their intertwining fates make it more complicated (I’ll probably need a separate post/s for this).

I already watch ep14 last night at kimchidrama and read the recap of ep15 at dramabeans (thanks JB and GF!) this morning. I have to wait for another week for the last ep, now that’s the hardest part.

I so love this KDrama! I love Hye Mi, Sam Dong, Jin Gook, Pil Sook, Jason and Baek Hee (but I guess I love Sam Dong a little more, guilty!). I don’t care who turns up to be the singer “K”. They all deserve it.

But hey they aren’t even starring in one KDrama but two!

Kim Soo Hyun aka Sam Dong stars in Dream High (a separate post is needed) while Song Seung Hun as Mr. P stars in My Princess (another post hopefully).

I am having a heart attack just thinking of these two hotties!
